any advice to help us out? we have our contact and travel to work costs taken into account. We have the kids 1 night a week (CSA1) so not taken into account.. help
Why is this not taken into account? As long as you have them more than 52 nights a year then this should be taken into account in the assessment, and you should have your liability reduced by 1/7 accordingly.
If the case is on old rules, the treshold for having the children overnight to reduce liability is 104, not 52.
A departure for work travel costs and child contact travel costs (subject to the first £15 a week not counting) might be worth applying for. The law limits the costs in each case to fares and/or fuel and tolls and reasonable fuel costs at that.0 -

Hi im guessing PM is private message - nothing there
what has Kimitatsu done? sorry i don't get it...0 -
She made a simple mistake and forgot you were on CSA1 with regards to the information that she gave you regarding overnight stays, the information she gave was regarding CSA2. But the deadbeat dads who are trying to hijack the CSA threads are so pathetic they are trying to pull her information apartwhat has Kimitatsu done? sorry i don't get it...
and they actually think that any information that is submitted here on MSE is legal :rotfl: *SIGH*

"de-railing" another NRP thread by incorrectly telling others to have their facts right when she doesnt have her own facts right.
Thats why I recommended you should print this thread and show it to you solicitor. He will tell you that you can part own your property and part rent it from family instead of using a loan. Loans from family are disregarded by the CSA.
Its not really my place to knock heads together with these trolls who seem to think renting is "illegal".
I am beginning to wonder how many other NRPs have been defrauded after the CSA tries to scupper an investigation the same way a board guide has tried to scupper my enquiries. e.g. >> locked NRP thead: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/40455656#Comment_40455656

You obviously have nothing better to do Roy and it is SO nice to see that you acknowledged your own failings in offering advice to the NRP about when maintenance liability ends on a previous thread

Yup we all make mistakes, I dont claim to be the guru on CS1, I already said that Kellogs is that, and had I not been in a rush I would have gone to look it up first. NRPs and PWCs get treated the same on here, there is no bias (unlike some posters eh?) and I can empathise with creampuffs predicament, but I dont want them to be landed with an arrears assessment at a later date for not having declared all that they were supposed to.
I would have been in here earlier to check on this but you know......some of us have a life

Kim - your statistics clearly show the level of support you have offered to your fellow posters since 2007............
Roy is just the latest wind up, he'll soon get bored.0
