lloyds online banking / statement error

hi there, ive had a letter from llyds tsb charging me £5 for going overdrawn between 02.12.10 and 04.01.11, ive checked my statement online and ive noticed that the incoming and outgoings are wrong. i.e. my balance is £200, i spent £20 and my new balance is £220, when it obviously should read £180. the statement is doing this from dec to now. so currently its saying i have £3000 in my account (i wish). the same is true for credits, i.e my balance is £200, i pay in £20 and the new balance is £180.
do i have a valid argument with lloyds for charging me for going o/d when i can only go by what my account says?
cheers

It would be worth writing to them making a complaint about it and enclosing copies of the statements.
Just check to see if the amount you are looking at is the available balance or the balance of an overdraft. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Jake are you sure your balance is not overdrawn? Usually displayed as '-', 'OD' or 'DR'0

If this is online statements you're looking at, make sure you save copies or print screens before making them aware of it.
