At great risk awakening the usual trolls who love to stir things up, I thought this site may be useful for people.
The downloads are free. You can download different books or the whole Bible. Or you can stream it, so you can listen without the need to download.

Please, if you wish to debate Christianity, the Bible or Religion as a whole, feel free to start a thread elsewhere. This is just a thread offering something free.

Thanks Soprano
, wish it was NIV (instead of KJV) but beggars can't be choosers
. Well said about the 'debating Christianity' issue.
All the download links can be found here: http://server.firefighters.org/kjv.asp (had some trouble locating them myself!)
By the way, if anyone needs to know, the files are only 32Kbps bitrate quality but very clear-sounding nonetheless.
You must be on a 20Mb connection - are you?! Like bones61, I'm only on 2Mb. GLukeSkywalker wrote:Or a few seconds on Broadband

Another option is to take the free trial with Audible (Perform a search here to find the three free book rather than the two book option) and download the Bible as one of your free downloads. It certainly has NIV and the Message and plenty of other good Christian audiobooks.0
