Changed jobs & Loan eligibility

I have just changed jobs in the last 7 days and need to apply for an unsecured loan of less than £15k.

Am I likely to get turned down if I declare my new job or should I only reference my job which I left on 14th January?

Thanks

Only being so recently in your job may affect your ability to get a new loan, though it won't be the only thing they will consider.

No you shouldn't put down just the old job as that would be incorrect and fraudulent.

  • some lenders may contact your employer to check you actually work where you say you do,and its unlikely you`ll get a loan so soon after changing jobs
