Tesco clubcard points for old mobile phones?

I seem to remember reading somewhere in the forums that you can get clubcard points if you send in an old mobile phone. I've searched and searched the forums but can't find anything so was wondering if anybody knows where I might find some information on it?

I seem to remember seeing envelopes for recycling mobiles in various stores, can't remember whether Tesco was one of them or not. Sorry if that's not much help ... nothing about it on Tesco website, well not obvious anyway, but you could try emailing them?Signature removed for peace of mind0

Hello,
You can pick up the envelopes from the store - you get 50 points for any old phone, or 300 points if the phone switches on. Postage is free too!
Whizz-Kidz gets £1 either way!
Hope that helps0 -
Great, I've got two to send off.
They do this on ink cartridges too, you get 50 points for each.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0
