Is this normal?

Ok this may sound a little odd but Ive been trying to get into better shape lately, but I have not been dieting by any means - infact my food intake has stayed relatively the same with the exception of eating less takeaways. Now I have been working out, although not every day - and nothing extreme but maybe an hour or so on the Wii fit..... Ive been a little lazy the last few days and haven't been on it but I now feel really hungry in between meals which is unlike me - as I said foodwise nothing has really changed...

Is it a case of exercising, even though not for a few days has done something like sped up my metabolism? Im wondering if my body has just freaked out over burning calories after the last few weeks and now wants me to eat to get them back...Ive no idea!
