Unsure about Postponement/Repayment?

Unsure about the wording from a letter that my dad's recieved regarding his deed, was wondering if anybody could help clarify;
"We note that from the Title to your property that you have a charge registered against your property."
"Please remember we are acting for National Westminister Home Loans Limited only. Therefore we cannot advise whether it is in your interest to enter into the postponement or repayment of your additional loads or the obligations and/or liabilities that my arise as a result."

Could you expand upon what your father is currently doing? Such as remortgaging.
From what you've written there may well be an additional charge secured on the property for another debt besides the mortgage.0 -
AFAIK it's a straight remortgage whereas Natwest pays Halifax; that's the only money i know i owe. I haven't got any loans against the mortgage. Is it possible they are asking about the mortgage loan itself for them to pay off the mortgage loan with the halifax. Maybe i am reading into it too much.Savings Target: 100K by 2015
