I was wondering exactly how the posts on this thread are administered.

I this morning at about 12.15am did the thread for the newspaper summary, and then later on i found it to be removed and replaced with this thread that was started at 7.14am.

can you tell me the politics behind this thread if any??

Oh and btw the dates wrong its the 7th today and not the 6th

Hiya Sabz - there is no hidden agenda or politics at all. If the thread hasn't been started by someone, then someone else starts it. In this case I believe that your original thread was simply missed hence the duplication.

    Your thread is here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=299199

When I did a search early this morning I did not find your thread as newspaper was not mentioned in the title - just the date and I always search on newspaper.

  • Jumped on the work bus that takes me into town today for up to 2 hours shopping in Cardiff city centre and managed to bag 8 copies of the Metro all with 50p vouchers in - very pleased.

Then went to WH Smiths and bought my papers and was handed a spare copy of the Lion King pc game from yesterday. Also saw the lovely teddy bears on display by the tills, the display said only £5 with every purchase over £5, the teddy bear label said only £5 if you spent £10. Queried this with the cashier and had a very lovely teddy for £5 even though I had spent just over £5.

anyhooooo - these raceform updates: what are they, n how are they handy?
same question for the bookcoupons and LoveIt's
    thanks :)

    p.s i miss Crocker: i wonder if s/he's ok

  • Hiya fmhm :D - in the Mirror today is a voucher for the Raceform update - £1.00 off. This voucher can be used as money off your groceries rather than buying the magazine "Raceform".

The same with the book coupons and the love-it vouchers these can be scanned at the checkout as money off without purchasing the product.

Hope this helps - Welshy x

When you say the love it vouchers do you mean the ones we sent for with the subscription
ie/£4.95 per quarter and free nail kit
or am I barking up the wrong tree(I still haven't received the vouchers yet and I'm already planning how to spend them!!)
  • Hiya I am thinking about the love it vouchers which are published in the Sun on a fairly regular basis, they are usually for 30p off and have an expiry date of within 3 days. I use these quite often when out and about at Tescos.

I don't tend to take out any subscriptions as I don't get much free time so not sure about the love it offer you mentioned.

Times.. airmiles and token for 10 pound wine/dine

Mail.. Bug's Life PC Game with Disney, £800 bonus cash, £830 catherine wheel, 7 grapes cherries for the jackpot

    Inde - nothing
  • I know what you mean about spare time,I used to complain that I didn't have much spare time now what little amount I did have I spend on this website!
The reason I subscribed to the love it mag was because I was hoping to use the coupons just as money off coupons in tesco.I also got a nail kit worth £15 that will make a very nice teenage girl present all for £4.95.I also hope that there may be some money off coupons in the actual mag if it comes to it that I have to buy it.As I said in my earlier post they haven't even arrived yet anyway!!
