Sadly i think the £2 is a standard apology when Asda misprice things and no matter what the cost of the item is this is how much you get.

    Unless someone knows different?:)
  • Thats right £2 is the standard, which is quite good on lower priced items ,just not as good on anything over £2 !!!

Was in there last evening and spotted frozen prawns and the sign said (big yellow one couldn't miss it) 2 for £2, so I thought I'll bag me some of them to keep till christmas - they went through the till at £2 each, when I queried this they said I'd gotten it wrong and they were £2 each - wimp here just told them to put them back, wish I'd stuck to my guns and kicked up a fuss though :( I will do next time :D

BTW What does R&R stand for?

As I understand it, from my experience, they give you back the difference and usually a £2 giftcard.

One of the stores I use is very good and offer the giftcard without prompting, the other store I use always need prompting and the £2 giftcard is then usually begrudgingly given. I often wonder if they keep them for themselves if they get away with not giving it

    Refund and retain.

Tesco refund you the full price of the item and you retain the product if you are charged more at the till than it is on the shelf
:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood
