  • If you dont want to wait and get your tickets in a late ticket booth in london...then I find http://www.londontheatrebookings.com/ are really good. You get to choose your tickets - check out www.theatremonkey.com on that site you can see which seats are good and bad for any theatre in London.
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)

I was looking for something like Mary Poppins or the lion king but it looks like they're £50+ a ticket.

Wicked (at the Apollo) is brilliant - highly recommend it. I took my 7 year old son to see it last week. I was worried he would be bored, or even a bit scared, but he loved it. Spent the whole performance glued to the min binoculars. He has only ever been to the panto before, so I was quite worried, but he was so well behaved.

I paid £15 per ticket - a steal. Seats were high up in the circle, but not too high, and had a geart view of the stage.

Thanks to poster on this board who put me on to this btw!
  • https://www.lastminute.com - are doing savings on Mary poppins for Friday nights (3rd price seats for £39 and 4th price seats for £27.50 with no booking fee.

You can also try seetickets.com as I have found them excellent in the past.

To be honest, Lion King and Mary Poppins tend to be more expensive as these tickets are still heavily in demand.

As some one else said, the half price ticket booth at leicester square is always worth a look if you don't have a definite show you want to see. You can see what tickets they have for sale each day on their website http://www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk/tkts/today
