yay i have previously said i won a mulberry bag worth £350 ! today they sent me a gift card as they hadnt got any bags left ! The card has got £695 ! how great it that so thanks again jujugaboo!

i really could do with the cash as i am going on holiday ! Has anyone else listed items on ebay for this value as i am bit worried !
any previous experience appreciated xx

Where's the gift card for, is it Mulberry or somewhere like Selfridges/John Lewis/Debenhams, etc. Check on completed auctions for similar voucher sales to see what they go for?

Having a quick look at ebay, Debenhams vouchers seem to go for about 80-85% of their face value but a Mulberry voucher, if it is that, may have less appeal so perhaps a buy it now at 80% of face value with 'best offer' option? How's that sound? Way better than your £350 bag to start with as you may have only got about £200 for that. Hopefully, it'll pay a big chunk towards that lovely holiday.

Should be okay with paypal I would have thought - as long as the auction winner name/address is the same as the paypal account they pay it from. If you follow the sale rules of paypal, it should be fine, although I don't know whether their protection is only up to a certain value. Make sure you send it through the post fully insured and trackable for the full value.

Hope that's of help - what does everyone else think?

Ahh thank you Green1970 yes its for selfridges ! I have phoned them and they will swap it for 7 x £100 giftcards so that would be less risk for me . Thank you for your help xx I cant wait for my hols now as my partner recently lost his job so we were in 2 minds whether to go ! So kids are gonna be excited tonight when i say we are ! xx

Just a note Charlie, if you're going to sell them in £100 lots don't list them all at once i.e. all on Ebay at the same time. If you do you're spreading the buyers over a greater number of gift cards and they are likely to go for less than if you listed them one at time, if you see what I mean.

you should have no problem in ebay,just make sure to send it recorded delivery and send your tracking number in paypal as well,some people are mean ,might say didnt receive the post,there are lots of problems from ebay,keep a note of card number or similar
