i enjoyed the 'office' until it turned out that ricky gervais wasnt playing a roll but was just being himself. now I find it a bit creepy.

That's not his personality, he just keeps up that role in the public eye as it's all part of his comedy act. That's why American's didnt get his comedy cos he never goes out of character. Most people understand that but he has a lot of haters now that didnt get what he was trying to do.
I didnt actually like Office but Ricky Gervais is a genius!
