MSE UPDATE: 9am 19 Jan. Tastecard's system experienced some problems early this morning. When you submitted the form, you may have got an error message, yet tastecard says it will have got your details despite this, and you'll get a card. The problem is now fixed.
We’ve blagged free three-month tastecard memberships for MoneySavers. It's a discount card scheme that saves you 50% at more than 4,500+ UK restaurants and normally costs up to £70/yr (used to be called tastelondon, but is now nationwide).
To grab a card, sign up via this taste page, before 11.59pm Friday 21 Jan '11. There’s no limit on the amount of people who can sign up. If you've already had a free three-month trial, you can't have another one. Yet you got a free 1-year card tastecard when we ran the '2,000 free 1yr cards' offer, you can still get this three-month offer.
Where it works
The advantage of the card over normal deals is you can book with a large list of the restaurants, which include many non-chain places, as well as bigger groups like PizzaExpress, STRADA, gbk, Zizzi, Cafè Rouge, Bella Italia, La Tasca, Prezzo and, from Feb, ASK. See full list of locations.
Always call to book before your meal, mentioning the tastecard. It's also worth presenting the card again when you order.

Have just signed up for this but looked into the details after... my local restaurants are limited - for example Pizza express is 241 but only for 2 people and cannot be used on a fri/sat - so a worse offer than the ones you can get online at any time

Totally disagree. The Pizza express offers online are always on mains or pizzas only, this offer is starters, mains + desserts, so much better deal IMO.
