Can I get a Mortgage with BFPO address?

Hi, I am based overseas and have a BFPO address. My wife and I sold our last property last year before we moved away and now we would like to buy somewhere in the UK to rent out for a couple of years while I am still posted overseas. Then on our return to the UK we would live there ourselves.
Is it going to be difficult getting a mortgage with a BFPO address? How can I check my credit when I do not have a UK address?

You should be able to do a buy to let with a BFPO address subject to the other various lending conditions being met of course. You would also need a 25% deposit. email me at spam@spam.co.uk if you want any more info.

Steve.

There are lenders totally happy with this - assuming you fit all other criteria/lending policy.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Who is your current lender? What is your current rate and what rate do you go on to after your current deal expires?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. We're currently with HSBC and moved off a fixed rate to their standard variable rate, currently around 3.75% I think.
