I have brought a item from argos online but it was not suitable and I want to return it but it shows on the information page:

I wanted to check that the distance selling regulations apply so that I can take the item back within severn days, and is it a that I will be able to get my money back without any problems.:cool:

    It was a laptop but it has not been opened its still in its box all sealed up.

    Shouldn't be a problem to return it, but if you have simply changed your mind and there is nothing wrong with the laptop, they are quite within their rights to offer vouchers instead of a cash refund, depends on the manager really.

    Bought online and informed Argos within 7 WORKING days beginning with day after receipt of goods that you wish to return, DSR applies and Argos T&Cs will not override Statutory Rights, i.e. DSR.
    ALL cost including original postage have to be refunde, but they can charge you return P&P IF they informed you before contract concluded, if not then they pay return P&P.
