Recycling Unusable Paint???

I have lots of tins of paint in the garage that have all been frozen so are now unusable. Community Recycling schemes only seem to deal with usable paint so what can I do with my leftovers?
They are all in steel tins rather than plastic tubs so surely they can't just be put in the regular rubbish bin?
Any ideas anyone?

What kind of paint is it? If it's emulsion this place may be able to help:

Otherwise, have you asked your local council what you are supposed to do with them?

Local Council not answering email. Local Recycling Centre aka "The Tip" has notice posted on the front of a shelving unit saying "Emulsion Only". Employees very unhelpful when asked - just pointed me in the direction of the "Household Waste" skip.
Very frustrating when you want to be good and recycle and actually it would be so much easier just to put it in the bin and send it to landfill.....£2012 in 2012 Challenge £2051.06£2013 in 2013 Challenge £500 -

Hi - don't recycle yet! There are community groups all over the country who take donations of paint like this, your local community service volunteers may know, or indeed your council.Jan 2012: CC £2,340.30, 2nd mortgage £22,932, Mortgage £57,5380
