State pension abroad.

I am almost at state pension age and when I reach it I intend to live abroad in the far east. I am single and qualify for the single man's full state pension. Once I am over there I will be marrying a local woman, aged 52, not working. Will my state pension increase to that of a married couple?

There is no such thing as a married couples pension.
Your state pension will be not affected by your marital status.0 -

As has been said, your wife will not enter into it.
Your biggest issue, I expect, is whether or not your State Pension entitlement will be inflation linked. My understanding is that it is not ever increased while you continue to live in the Far East.0 -

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

Yes. Looks like this is about the only Far East country where you do get index linking.0
