How do you choose a DJ & any recommendations from Manchester?

Hi all,

We've just started looking for a dj for after our wedding and are starting to get a bit boggled - I can only find a couple of websites and most of the ads on gumtree are just a name and number. How can you tell which ones are any good?!

If anyone can recommend one from the Greater Manchester area so I can bypass the whole searching thing then I could be really greatful.

If not, do any of you have any hints or tips of how to make the process a bit easier.

Thats brill, I may well give her a bell see what she can do. I don't suppose you know whether she has her own equipment or if she just plays venue that already have the set up. Thanks!

she has all equipment and insurance etc.
she is charging us £200
