Nil Pay nightmare

Ok - update & advice please
After a spell of particularly ill-health and a flare up of my disability, it was recommended by OccH dr that I be redeployed. My senior manager felt the need to call a sickness hearing.
2 and a half months later that sickness hearing was convened and it was agreed that my name should be placed on the redeployment register.
The short version is that I went onto nil pay before being placed on the redeployment register. I have applied for a job in another dept, and I was turned down for it. I was gutted, and Im not entirely sure that this decision was fair. There are not a great deal of vacancies around that meet my skillset.
HOWEVER
Im in the throes of applying for anything and everything. Applied to quite few agencies, but they are saying theres not much about, difficulty is that I want a career change and my CV is very "social work" ( even though Ive redrfted it to make it look as if its a more adminy type job) and I dont want to do social work any more and its not good for my health to do so.
Acas have said that they believe that I can still get work ( part time;/ full time) & remain on the redeployment register - but Ill need consent from the Chief ecec to do so, my legal people have siad if I dont get this then I can state this is unfair contract.
im starting to tie myself in knots here. Part of me just doenst know what to do. If I get another job, Ill resign, no problem, but no other jobs are around/
If I got a temp job, would I have to give a months notice still?
If I resign will i get my holiday pay as I havnet taken hardly any hols this year, and if this is a source of finance, I need to take it.
i cant get any more sick notes as my GP says im fit to work as long as i dont go back to my other job
Sorry for the overload, but ANYONE got any ideas what I should do???

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Hi lynz,
There was this posted by CFC on this thread:
.all companies must now have a grievance procedure and even people who have failed an interview can now raise a grievance, believe it or not. Before going to a Tribunal you should follow the internal company grievance procedure.
Perhaps given the above you can look into it being unfair that you didn't get that job you went for? Also what was the nil pay bit about, what did ACAS say about that?
Have you got an Employment Adviser at your CAB? Or one near enough to get to? (Sorry more questions than answers!)Torgwen..........

I am SURE you can have some holiday pay. It continues to accrue while you are on sick leave.
So if you resigned, you'd get your paid holiday, then you'd presumably be able to claim JSA, and in theory help from the jobcentre towards finding a new job.
But at the moment you're NOT being paid because you're on the redeployment register?
It's a shame your GP won't issue any more sick notes. I thought that the sick note was issued in relation to your present work: so with a broken leg I could carry on doing my job (once I could get up the stairs!) but if I were doing manual work, it might not be possible. And the only job you have at present is one you're not medically fit to do, IYSWIM. Worth running that one past ACAS?
I'm not an expert by the way so don't rely on what I say ...Signature removed for peace of mind0
