    - have homemade soup for lunch. Work is getting rid of staff room, so might need to invest in a flask bowl to take my soup to work. Will be losing microwave within weeks  Management solution is to eat @ staff bar or restaurant which don't allow you to bring your own food. Not very helpful! (Rant over, sorry!)

Hey Rock_Cakes - have you thought about a bento box? They've always seemed a bit pricey to me but my friend has one and loves it and I guess you'd save in the long run...

La escocesa - I wouldn't feel too bad as I guess you need the money more than the pressie at the moment! Your evening plan sounds fantastic :)

Yay! You're with me :) Told OH it was much better to sell it now while the series is popular too - otherwise it'd sit on the shelf for a year and then I'd sell it but by that time I'd only get £10 or £15 for it. :p

Ooh, chocolates in the office! I sit next to the cupboard that everyone puts them on! Sooo bad! :rotfl:
  • I admire you're will of iron but....

this is more my kinda thinking (I always think when I'm torn between something I SHOULD do and something I WANT to do if I got run over by a bus tomorrow and I am lying on my death bed would I be glad I did it or glad I didn't? Invariably it leads me toward hedonism :T :j)

You're a bad influence!!! I opened the tin and had 4, that's not too bad is it??!! :D

DD'S wedding dress has arrived :j:j It is absolutely beautiful and only cost £85 on Ebay. It looks as though it cost loads! I must now think of a way to keep it nice till July  I may wrap it in a double sheet and hang it up - if anyone has any better ideas, I would love to hear them! It is really HUGE (as in very full, loads of silk, not that DD is huge :rotfl:)

I've got a couple of spare of clothes cover bags (the ones from Ikea - bought to keep stuff clean when I went to a car boot) - if you'd like one, PM your address and will send one off to you.

Day started out well, went to the shops at lunchtime and resisted the temptation to buy a very nice skirt....

Got home and mum phoned and one of our animals has died - had him 20+ years so pretty down (trying to keep busy & have a feeling I'm not going to sleep much).
