Dilemma, please advise!

Sorry for the parts that were unclear. We have only just been given the news that my daughter will be receiving DLA (first DLA payment next month). The £600 savings are mine and hubby's (£300 in each of our ISA's).

The council tax comes directly from my husbands pay, over 12 months.

With regards to the car, we do need something reliable with a large boot so changing at would not be feasible at the moment. Neither would reducing the petrol costs due to my daughters appointments.

Looking at changing my utilities is one thing I do need to make time to do
I do currently use all my mins/texts on my mobile but hubby doesn't so we could drop his price plan.

One of my big aims is to reduce my grocery costs so will definately visit the old style board.

Payments left on the loan = 36
Hubby's time left in the RAF = 14 months
I should have said there are no penalties for us making overpayments on the loan, I have double and triple checked that

On paper we do have the £500 surplus (which up until last month was part used for clearing my credit card and partly frittered away!)
Now is definately to put it to good use.

Shall get hubby to look into the benevolent fund, didn't have a clue that may be something that could provide a little hep!
