I think the Planet Micro one is reconditioned with 30 day warrenty. £45 at Amazon. "Which" have a good report on the Canon Pixma iP2000

  • Just like to warn everyone that the Epson C44 printer is awful. Its a waste of money, and it doesnt do its job well at all.

The Canon Pixma's are supposed to be very good, although I haven't read any reviews on the iP2000.

I beg to differ found my C44 to be a great budget printer bearing in mind black carts for this model are as cheap as £1.55 (colour £1.90) id consider it to be great value for money!

    Just my pennies worth ;)

It doesnt state if the carts are original or compatibles.

You can buy the Epson C46ux for £40 from
    http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=63081

and compatibles are £39 for TEN BLACK AND TEN COLOUR carts from
    http://www.choicestationery.com/acatalog/Epson_Stylus_Colour_C42.html

Both include shipping charges (choice shipping is free!) that equates to £79 and you are getting the upgrade on the C43ux AND double the amount of carts too (not including the two originals you get with the printer, which makes 11 black and 11 colour in total!!!)
