If its £349.99 then its free, the SEL says £349.97 and dont pay a penny more.0

I assume it's the Acer 2423 TravelMate as shown here on Tesco Direct's website (currently out of stock online).0

I got the 4021 Travelmate this time last year
it cost about £450, has a pentium m (better than celeron) - the rest of the specs are much the same as the laptop featured this time round
Can't fault it! 256mb ram is low but as I found out upgrading it is easy due to the design of the travelmate case.0 -
The Advent 7109 with 1024mb ram and 128 mb shared graphics available from currys, dixons etc for around £360 looks much better value ...IMO0

Maybe better value by spec but like for like the Acer on build quality and support wins hands down.
Wouldnt touch an Advent if it was the last laptop on Earth available.0 -
anyone done the r&r on this laptop then?0

Don't rate this as good value, given the small hard drive, poor graphics, poor battery life and poor ram. There are many laptops out there for around 50-60 quid more that walk all over this one, and you wouldn't have to upgrade them right away to make them run smoothly.0

£299.97 in my local Tesco!!
