Payday Loan Help Needed

Hello all

I have to date avoided letter/emails/SMS/phone calls regarding 10 payday loans I now cannot pay in full or afford the rollovers.

I just need a bit of time to sort out what I can and can't pay. So I can at least make contact with them does anyone have a "interim" email/letter template wording I can use saying "I can't pay you, and you will have to wait while I sort out how/when/if I can pay you?

Is there a email/letter template I can use to stop them calling me at work/home/mobile/SMS and just deal with it via email? Am I allowed to request this?

Thanks in advance of any help/advice.

    Wow, you have ten?

Anyway, you need to drop a few section down to the Debt Free Wannabe section, they have all the templates for this kind of thing there and they may be able to help you with your hideous mess.

    Good luck.

You could try this template - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=21937969&postcount=50

but with payday loans they will try to take the money anyway by any means they can despite your letter.
This also could be used http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=11571485&postcount=4 but they can take up to a month to action this.

channel99 - is there a possibility of closing your bank account and moving to another one? That way, no-one can get their hands on your money. You could then write to your creditors asking can you set up a payment plan.

As a small aside and with no wish to go (too far) off topic, is 10 some kind of record or is there someone else who can "improve" on that ?

  • hi Channel, each lender seems to have different tactics.. i would start by listing the lenders and then maybe other posters have had experience with how to deal with them? just an idea...
