Using up sugar

Hi, Hoping someone can come up with a use for 2 x 500g boxes of Dark Muscovado sugar, which I unearthed at the back of a cupboard this morning. They are brick hard, so would maybe need to use a hammer and chisel to break up, but I can't just throw them out.
Thanks
Thanks

Also I made a lovely stick sauce for pork with brown sugar...!We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
If you put the sugar in a bowl with a damp teatowel over the top (no touching the sugar, just the edges of the bowl) and leave overnight then the sugar should soften up nicely.
Going hard is not a sign of going off, it just means that the sugar wasn't stored in a totally airtight place. If you don't really want to use the sugar at the moment then it will store quite safely either dried out or rehumidified until you need it.0 -
Seakay - Thank you, will do that and use one of the boxes tomorrow to make some nice sweet fudge, as suggested by Athorne1 (thanks), and a lovely ginger cake (thanks to BitterAndTwisted for that idea) Now off to find a good fudge recipe!Sealed pot Challenge 2011 member No 1241 - Final total £154.21
