CGT question

Hi All

I am wondering about CGT on a property my wife let out but has now sold.

When she bought the property in 1997 she did the kitchen and bathroom up and spent £10,000 but she does not have the receipts for it anymore.
Is she still able to claim this on CGT?

Thank you in advance.

Comments

  • I dont think she will be able to claim for he bathroom as she doesnt have a receipt for it but........i will be watching this thread to see the replies from other posters with more knowledge because my OH bought a car for his business and the seller didnt give him a receipt so i assumed we couldnt include the purchase on the tax return...
The loopy one has gone :j
