Bumping up as starts today:

To be eligible to use the railcard, at least one adult must be travelling with a child who is 5-15 years old. Up to four adults and four kids can travel on one Railcard, and they don't have to be related. The railcard saves adults 1/3 on ticket prices, and 60% on kids'. The code is valid until midnight Friday 4 March.
the code comes up with the linky.
MODS wasn't sure if Grabbit; UK days out or Discount Codes was the right place - pse move if necessary.

Thanks OP, mine expires on 11th March. Will have to make sure I get a new one before then as it saves me a fortune!
eta: my DD is 3, I don't have to buy a ticket for her, but you can if they are under 5. To get from Lowestoft to Cambridge (mine to parents) would cost £24 return on my own, but if I buy a ticket for DD too using railcard, I only pay £14.80 return for me, plus £2.80 return for DD. Add in OH and this is quite a saving over the year!0 -

Going to be a bit thick here and ask, is it ok that your daughter is under 5 though? I mean it says you must travel with a child aged between 5-15 or does this matter?Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
thank you so much. mine expired in november!!!!!
as long as you pay for a child ticket (and have a child with you) i dont think it matters if they are under 50 -
Being a bit dumb here, can this be used to get discount if you need to travel without children? I ask because I would like to take my OH away, and travel by train without the children.
Edit- Just read the terms and conditions.0 -

Nope, long as you pay for a child ticket and have A child with you doesn't matter about age. Been using a railcard with DD since she was 12 months old and never had a problem with it! She is under 5 so don't have to buy her a ticket but it is cheaper for me if I do!
Only condition is that you can't buy a child ticket too to use the rail card if you don't actually have any child with you!0 -
