As discussed elsewhere there is a discount code for Currys to have 10% off all orders (ending today I believe)

Separately there is a discount code to get £341 off the Samsung LE40N73BD

Surprisingly both work together and I have had my order confirmed. And then go via Quidco for another 3% (Perhaps those with Egg accounts can get 5%?)

This Tele was avaiable for just over £900 recently - I think some of the codes have just changed. I actually tested the codes and they worked.

Yes there was a Samsung 40" LCD available at approx £900 recently, however that was the older model with "R" in middle of description and as the AVForums discussion says "had ONE HDMI" slot.

New model is identified by "N" in the description, has various improvements, including two HDMI, and slots for various memory cards (Not just SD as Panasonic tend to do or MemoryStick as Sony tend to do) to view photos (including slide show display etc) and also play MP3s. Also has USB socket, although I have not figured out if you can connect an external harddrive directly to the TV to view/play Photos/MP3.
