50p DVD rental!

Did you know... libraries rent DVDs from 50p a day.. or at least they do in mine BUT... if you return the DVD before the library next opens through the post box then you only get charged 1 day! So.. borrow it on Saturday morning, post it back before Monday morning, or in the case of my local library Tuesday morning. pay 50p! I know they dont have the biggest of ranges but worth knowing!

I don't think this applies to all libraries, I'm sure they all have different rates/rental periods. My local library rents movies for about 2.60 (half that if you have a concessionary card) and you keep it for a week, which is a good deal, but no such thing as a 50p rental AND you aren't allowed to leave it in the overnight book drop. The deal at my library is sweetened because if you rent a multi-disk set, like a season of a TV show, it costs the same as one movie.0
