I think I was on one of the early 100 day challenges, I gave up magazines and it has worked a treat, I bought maybe five magazines last year, mostly if I was going up north and had a long train journey.

Tolietries I am not so hot on, I asked people not to buy them for me for presents. I still have a big box under my bed :o although much of that is stockpiling (3 for 2 offers on stuff I actually use)

I really need to crack the Amazon habit..........

    hmmm.

Well I've used up a bath foam and almost a shower gel. I've only got a travel sized Foamburst shower gel to use before I need to buy anymore. Also trying to use up a glyco cream I've had for years, I'm determined to shrink my list this year, it's still on about 3 A4 pages, eek!

Do you know, I decided to do takeaways because that's something we easily fritter money away on but kept reading everyones comments on toiletries and couldn't work out what all the fuss was about.

Just had a shower after the gym and couldn't decide which of the 3 bottles of conditioner that are all on the go at the minute to use. :o

I also had a choice of 2 facewashes and FOUR showergels! Ha!

As a teacher I get loads of presents and Christmas and the end of the year so have draws filled with stuff. I hang my head in shame at judging you all! ;)
Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...
  • Hi Buffy, do you want to join in again?

    No.:rotfl:

But I am going to have to.

I am not allowed to any more books. I have bought some absolute shockers recently(sad single girl type books) and need to pack it in.

Also on the toiletries front, I am slipping.

SO I also pledge not to buy any more of those unless I run out of something I use daily(which would take some doing given the stock pile situation)

ok. no more fun shopping for me.

    cheers for running it Fedup

Used up a pro collagen marine cream today - onto skin repair next. Good news is my skin can stand it and no reactions so far, lets hope it continues!

    Of course you can debtfree!

You're added as I type - good luck and please let us all know how you're going on and remember when you feel tempted - what do you already have that you haven't watched, read or played with and see if that helps

Well we're 12 days in now leaving 88 to go. I have felt tempted a couple of times by QVC so have avoided it most of this week. Let me see if I can stay strong for the whole 100 days - hope so, that will be some achievment
