All New 100 Day challenge!

My 100 day challenge will be quite a few things....
* Not to buy any toiletries unless i need them - i would say these were my most bought things and i am constantly buying out of avon. So i am giving up avon too. I will buy my products cheaply untill i have saved the £2000 i need to move out.
* No more takeaways. I spend alot of my spends each month of crappy food from fast food or corner stores. I need this extra money to save.
* No clothes unless i genuinely need them. Since i wont be going out for saving my money i should not need clothes either.
My Day starts today
Currently doing the 100 day challenge, and trying to read all the books i own before buying any more challenge.
I've saved £175 so far this month just in selling old items on various websites & Saving coppers!!0 -
Good luck Amy with all your challenges - if you are able to try the savings pot idea a few of us are doing on this challenge
When we use up something from our deep stocks we put £1 into a pot and then decided what to spend it on when we have saved enough. Its a nice easy way to save and it feels good when you can spend it
I saved up £40 over 2 challenges and put it towards a new outdoor waterproof coat meaning I put another £12.50 towards it - pleased? I certainly was!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hi! I'm going to join you guys if I can. 100 days from now will be October 22, 2011.
I am aiming not to buy any more toiletries/shower gels/moisturisers/cleansers/creams/scrubs etc etc etc unless I genuinely have nothing left to use eg used up all antiperspirants! I think I will do the putting a £1 in my savings tub every time I use something up and it will go towards my holidays spending money when I go away in november (I'm already trying to remember to put in 20ps

I think I might, if i get a chance, go through the bathroom and make a list of everything I've got in there, maybe throw away anything which has developed it's own life... and generally have an idea of what I've got. I've got a lot. On the upside- it should tidy things up a bit too

One pack of razors used up and a Bath Foam, opened the cupboard to find another pack of razors :rotfl:0

3 items used up so far, and 3 in the savings pot. Looking like I will finish my Lancome cleanser tonight, so another £1 will go in the pot.. and then if I will see if I can 'borrow' the unopened, unused one I saw in my mums bathroom the last time I was over... well, if she's not gonna use it
93 days to go
