For want of a better place to post this,dont know on which board this post would belong?!!
I have about 22 lbs of books to send to an address in the US.
Could anyone tell me the cheapest way to do it .I wouldnt care if it takes 2 or 3 months to reach there, but im looking for the cheapest possible rate.
Any ideas anyone.

Maybe worth asking in the post office how much it'd cost to send it surface mail It's much slower than airmail, but a lot cheaper.

Try https://www.parcel2go.com. £32.99 +VAT for 10 kilos. Don't know if that's cheapest.
