Hugs Lil_me You have a lot on your plate atm. You cam me or pm me on FB if you want to talk. I have lots of experience, sadly, of family members in similar situation. Maybe can't help but can listen.

DH has gone outside to work in the garden, first sunny day here for months. Hopefully he can go back to work on Wednesday.

mumto5 It is amazing how much mud can be carried into the house. My carpets are mud coloured:D Deliberately, I think they were called 'coffee' but it matches the mud around here.

I have completely cleaned out under sink cupboard and everything is back in the correct boxes, racks etc. I have an old vegetable rack under the sink. I have shoe cleaning things in one, light bulbs in another etc.

Shysarah I had a medical for IB a couple of months ago. They asked what I do in a typical day and about my meds and consultants, apointments etc. Take someone with you. I found that helped as they can answer questions for you. I found I forgot lots as soon as I got into the medical but DD helped me out. It is no good saying don't worry as I know you will but the doctor I saw was really nice, and they had rubbish tissues so take your own :)

LW What have you been doing? I gather from other peoples messages that you overdid it yesterday. Hugs for you and lots of healing and resting vibes too.

  • Hi all.
Well in my HHC (which ended up lasting an hour) I got today's list done.
Also tackled three kitchen drawers (to find 10 things to fling) so they're looking prettier now.
Then hubby bolted upstairs to tell me there was water pouring into the shop. After investigating found out that the downpipe from the bathroom is so fragile (and old) that holes can be poked in it just by feeling it to see if it's wet. So now waiting for friend who is a plumber.
To top that, garage phoned to say that the car's cylindar head is going. He's going to cost it up for us. Either it's going to be 2x cylindar heads plus work or, what might work out cheaper, a second hand engine + work. Either way. Hubby is down in the dumps.
lil_me Huge hugs hon. Horrible difficult time for you.
Lamewolf Honey, I hope you are looking after yourself today after yesterday's exertions.
Quillion healing vibes for you sweetie.
Shysarah Hope it goes well. Understand fully why you're bricking it. Will be thinking of you.
