Awersome achievement and great inspirtion, thanks for sharing. Can't wait for my turn (2.5 years to go, earlier, God willing) and yes also slight 'green with envy' that you have managed to be both debt and mortgage free:j:T.

  • Hey Mister_aaa

Just echoing the sentiments of all who have gone before me - brilliant effort and well done you. I can't wait for the day to be debt free and this has really inspired me. I am about to be made redundant alas but staying positive 'cos I can use some of the redundancy to clear 2 niggling debts that have been weighing me down! Onwards and upwards and thanks again for your message of support. Loads and loads of luck and happiness in your new debt-free life, much deserved. :T

Well, its started. I've decided to start looking for another job, as the one i do now is of no benefit to society whatsoever. This bothered me in the past, but now i don't 'have' to do it for the money, i ask myself "why am i doing it?"

It might take time to get another one in a not for profit or public sector area (with the way things are at the moment), but it's now my next goal.

Congratulations Mister_aaa on becoming very debt free, you are an inspiration. I really wish you well in your change of job, how wonderful to be able to do something for society I think this would be a great achievement. Please let us know how you are getting on with this there is a great need for people like you.

What!!! Why are you still here? Go for it. How nice to have a laid back life for a change, beach, sea, sun......
Well done you for forking your way to freedom.:D
  • Well done Mr A, hope to be up there with you in about 7 years (seems like forever, but 7 years ago was merely the blink of an eye).
