ASDA fairtrade filter coffee on offer: 94p/227g

Firstly I have to apologise that I am a coffee snob - well all my friends call me one anyway, because I will only drink filter coffee - and it has to be fairtrade wherever possible:
I am used to paying up to £2.79 for a 227g packet e.g. Percol brand, although I usually buy Tesco own brand fairtrade at £1.88/packet.
I went to ASDA for a change yesterday and was impressed to see their own brand:
"Ethiopian Yirgacheffe roast and ground coffee" - medium strength, on offer for 94p a packet! - working out at 41p/100g. I am sitting here drinking a cup of it now and it is great - quite a mellow, but rich flavour.
It does not appear to come up on the online shopping when you select filter coffees for some reason I had to do a search for the word "Yirgacheffe" (no idea what that means) to find it. I don't seem to be able to find the right link to past here - sorry.
As it has an expirey of Oct 07 on the packet I am planning to return later today to stock up. If you store it in the freezer, it will also stay fresh for even longer.
The decaffe version is also v. good value at £1.09
See the link here info. about fairtrade coffees:

By the way, I think that all the roast and ground coffee and beans may be half price at ASDA at the moment - please think about the fairtrade ones first though.
Just had to edit this as I have found these fantastic recipes on the fairtrade website - some of them including coffee, others with other fairtrade products.

I don't drink instant coffee, the only way I do it is through my cafetiere! And I don't think it's snobbish, just prefer the taste. I have yet to find (even the really expensive ones) and instant coffee that compares.
The above sounds like a great deal. I must add that although not fairtrade (I don't think so anyway), The asda own brand stuff is better than any of the others.
That being said, a friend of mine has managed to supply me with free coffee for the past year anyway! YAY!0 -

Does he/she work for Starbucks or something? Or is there a secret source of free coffee somewhere that we should know about?0
