Bank harassment
If you have ever received letter from Banks asking for money when you know that you have paid off you loan read on...
I settled my loan with MBNA Europe Bank over 1 year ago before I started receiving threatening letters from them stating I still owed money. Each time I spoke with the bank they said they would look into it.
After a month of receiving letter and harassing phone calls on my work, mobile and home line I finally managed to get them stopped by speaking with the complaints department. This was after I have tried speaking to MBNA CEO, MBNA complaints, governemnt departments, various media and found none of them wanted to help.
I was on my own sorting this out. Eventually after 2 months of this I received a letter from MBNA Bank stating they would 'write off' the outstanding debt and reinstate my credit rating (the debt by now had risen 3 times in value) and I would not hear from them again. Of course I then received more phone calls and texts stating I still owed money.
I then took this matter to the local courts. I decided to sue them for harrassment & distress. If you people out there have had somilar problems and have got the balls to go to court it is very worthwhile as I have just won the case against them. Don't let them grind you down. Fight back.....
