HMV Clearance - in store @ McArthur Glen

Not sure if this is in all stores but I've just been to the HMV in McArthurGlen (Bridgend) and they have everything heavily reduced with an extra 20% off today. I picked up:

Slumdog Millionaire Soundtrack CD - £1.60
Girls Aloud Greatest Hits - £1.60

They also had consoles there (PSP and PS3 for definite, didn't pay much attention to any others), and iPod docking units etc. The sign said 20% off everything in store so assume this also includes the consoles.

I have no idea when this ends but hope it doesn't soon.
I got some birthday presents: Ghost DVD £2 with 20% off £1.60 and some other DVDs.
Got myself a Take That T-shirt for £2.40.
I was there yesterday and today and there was a few different items out, so I'll be checking HMV out later, if I'm passing that way.

Can you use gift cards at an HMV Clearance store? I got a few for Christmas, and feel reluctant to spend them instore when most things are cheaper on their website or on Amazon.

I have some hmv vouchers but dont want to make a wasted trip to any of the stores in Birmingham.
