Best place to sell bulky items?

I currently have a breadmaker and a coffee machine that I want to sell. Due to the weight involved for postage I really don't think it would be worth placing auctions on Ebay. Has anyone got any good places that I could try to move these items on that wouldn't charge the earth? BTW the items are well known brands and not cheap store versions so I'm not interested in placing local paper ads to sell them for a fiver

Personally I think eBay is worth a try - lots of people list things for collection only - I've done it myself (sold a wendy house) and also bought large items locally (wardrobes, microwave, etc)
Just make sure it clearly states where you are.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
Ta Pudsey, will have a think about that and see what to do

Gumtree, forgot about that! Thanks Noddledoodle!
I won't be offering any further information on the items as I'm not trying to sell them through the forum

Gumtree is better than ebay for selling anything for collection only in NI. Unless you're selling something really in demand, you'll not get a lot of bidders on ebay.0

We sell a lot on ebay, locaton dosen't seem to matter that much, if someone wants the item they are usually to pay whatever the postage, plus you get a lot of local bidders, so it is probably worth a try. Breadmaker could be difficult to shift locally, I only say this because my Mum runs a Hospice Shop and could fill the place with them if they were able to sell electrical goods. We also had a brilliant response to an advert on Gumtree recently so that is probably worth a try also. Good luck with the selling!DJWW - cos we won't let it!0
