Pension investment fund shows different unit prices

I'm in a Defined Contribution occupational Pension Plan (Money Purchase).
It's operated by Zurich Corporate Pensions and it has online account access where you can check performance of your fund, including number of units/shares and the current unit price.
The fund invested in is the HSBC Amanah Global Equity Fund. The problem is that on my Zurich on-line access it shows the current price of the units being let' say £6.50.
But when I look at the HSBC listing, the fund price is roughly $6.50
Now I know that the current currency rate is definitely not £1 = $1.
Any clues?

You'll probably need to ask. Zurich is who I'd ask first.
As an initial check you might investigate whether the value of your pension pot is consistent with the unit price given in Pounds.0 -
Don't know which HSBC site you are looking at.
The fund is available in many versions denominated in various currencies. Make sure you are looking at prices for the corect version.
Here is a link to the Trusnet page listing the daily prices of the various versions of the fund.

Thanks, I can see what you mean now. Didnt know there were so many funds. I've left Zurich Pensions Team a message to let me know the exact name of the fund.Don't know which HSBC site you are looking at.

I would think that if your Zurich pension is an insured pension then it will by Zurich's version of the fund rather than the direct investment version. e.g. if it says "Zurich HSBC Amanah Global Equity Fund" then that is a Zurich insured fund. It will have a different fund price as technically it is a different fund.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
