PINK carpet

Options
Hi everyone

I have been a bit out of touch with wedding plannin recently, hope everyone is gettin on okay with their plans.

Does anyone know where to get a pink carpet to have for my aisle??? my heart is kind of set on it.

i have seen some wedding decorations northern ireland website but not sure it is really like carpet....

had a quick look on ebay at carpets but wouldn't know where to start with getting an "end" or something...... think it would need to be about 10m long and not sure yet how wide....

does anyone have any tips? i am on a budget of £100 to decorate the ceremony room, but I just found a garden arch for £8:rotfl::rotfl:so may have over budgeted!!!

thanks!

http://www.reveriesevents.co.uk/services-hire/aisle-runners Not sure where you are, this covers london and south kind of areas...

Think they're called aisle runners, so will give you something better to search for. They usually come in white from the looks of it, and you can get a white one for £30 or so. You could maybe decorate with pink rose petals? They're quite cheap from ebay I think for packs of 100?

Thanks for that, I will have a look. I am trying to find the £8 arch in my web history myself!!! This is what happens when I search at such ungodly hours as 1.30 am!!! when i find it i will post it here. ,i was concerned it might not stand up by itself but then i saw one on b and q website that looked quite sturdy for £15 if that is any help! :D

thanks for everyone's help. it is definitely the pink i need i am afraid although i did look into dying some of the ones on the links above.

it is really more of a pink "carpet" like a "red carpet" although i know that's not really carpet if you know what i mean!!! i have been on a US site that ships to UK so will have a look there too.

    Thanks for all your help

Thanks don't know anymore um I tried ebay like I said in the OP....

Anyway, I got married a few weeks ago with no pink carpet and it was the best day of my life, looking back on this thread reminds me how much little stresses got to me and not one of them mattered on the day, so the unexpected resurrection of the thread has helped me, and maybe it will help others. I know it is easy for me to say now and I wouldn't have listened had someone said it to me a few weeks ago but seriously to any stressing b2b - it will all be okay.

It will!!! The important thing is you are getting married and can't believe I am now one of the ones saying this but it really will fly - enjoy it.
