Thanks for the PM moorbricks, you should easily be able to borrow the amount you need, and at mainstream rates as well. However you do need to use a lender who will accept WFTC and CB, and 50% of overtime income and stretch the term in order to keep payments affordable for you. Steer clear of Nationwide, Abbey, RBS, as they will not accept you. A & L, Accord, C&G, and a couple of others would, dependent upon the type and amount of missed payments. I would recommend you seek specialist advice from a suitably qualified broker as you first suggested, but doing your own research is always a good thing!
