is everything "faux" leather on there?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

I really need a new handbag and these look like good prices, plus you all seem to rate them so hopefully they'll be good quality too :) BUT I'm feeling very old and frumpy because I'm baffled by all the different styles! What's a grab bag or across-body bag??!!! I just want a comfy shoulder bag that doesn't flap about down by my hip but isn't a squeeze up under my armpit either? I'm only 5' 2" and a curvy 14/16. Sort of medium size bag, preferably with assorted compartments/pockets (so my phone/purse don't end up underneath kid's drink cups, sticky snacks and squashed bananas.

Any suggestions would be really very very welcome - I need heeeeelllllppppp! :blushing::grinheart

Try something like this - http://www.nica.co.uk/product/rosie-scoop-bag - can be worn over the shoulder and is quite large. Or like the one I got - http://www.nica.co.uk/product/nemo-bowling-bag which has a long strap so can be worn across body.

    Hope this helps.
  • I've spent more money than ever since finding this board :P

This bag that I ordered is one that will fit over the shoulder and under the arm comfortably. This style is a 'scoop'. I'm 5ft2 and a 14 also! Nica bags tend to have a fair few apartments but not loads and loads. For example that one I would expect a couple of compartments inside, a small compartment in the inside lining and 2 under the flap at the front.

Ooo I can't wait for them to arrive!!

Across body bags are the long strap that goes on one shoulder over the head. Like a school bag or postmans bag.

Grabs are usually for hand holding.

Totes and shoulders usually fit nicely under the arm too. My personal favourite is always teh scoop though and I have a fair few nica scoops now! Oh god - get me off this site!
