I had a repossession order from Kensington Mortgages about 5 years ago this week actually. They just bull dozed ahead with this order blah blah blah...this was a re-mortgage. I had a 37,000 mortgage and borrowed 13,000 equity I had within that as my deposit on my home was originally was 22,000. I panicked and just before the deadline of repossession I sold my home via an internet auction or I would have ended up with absolutely NOTHING. When it came time to pay back KM I ended up paying them 44,000. Please tell me is this right or have I been screwed and if I have then can I complain to the FSA after 5 years and also after I sold my home because I was bullied out of it by KM?
Im nearly 60 and In not good with finances. I still have documentation with regard to the repossession order and other stuff but not all of it.

Are you saying you borrowed £50,000 or £37,000?
If £50k, then you paid back less than your borrowed. If £37k then £44k probably is in the ballpark area as you would have been in arrears and suffered charges (plus you may have added mortgage arrangement fees to the mortgage rather than pay for them upfront). However, without knowing what your arrears position was and what fees were involved at start and end then its hard to say.can I complain to the FSA after 5 years
The FSA do not handle consumer complaints. So, you cant complain to them. If you have a complaint then you complain to the lender.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thanks for your quick reply. I will gather my details and get back to you as there is no use me quoting amounts that may or may not be wrong.
