I can just imagine what the replies would be if I started a website hiring out "wives" by the hour

How much for a wife for an hour. I do all the DIY jobs in my house.

I have a hubby that is great at DIY. Problem is it takes months to get him to start a job and months to finish it. Just like his dear old dad, you write a snag list and you can bet your bottom dollar that's the only thing that ever finds its way into a bin in a timely fashion.

Hmmmm ....when I think of anything they're good at I'll try and come up with a price.
At the moment being able to operate a microwave and switch a dishwasher on doesn't seem worth a lot ;)

  • An hour? Sounds like the perfect length for a marriage!
