  • thats a really good price-ideal if you want to tie in your shopping after you pick the kids up from school as no having to cook tea when you get back with all the bags!

Went shopping in Morrisons today with my 2 children, and decided to eat there so was able to get one childs meal free, I had Lasagne Chips & a Fanta, Child 1 had Cheeseburger & Chips, Child 2 had Nuggets, Chips & Beans, both kids also had a capri sun, fruit bag & chocolate bar......total cost £6.88...bargain I thought.

However, I noticed as well as the offer of a free childs meal with any one hot adults meal but the adults meals all had combination discounts, ranging from £5 for 2 meals to £8 for 2 meals - both offers were shown on the same display card, with no notices saying that they couldn't be used together etc.

So theoretically a family of 4 could eat for between £5 - £8 total including drinks, plus fruit packs & chocolate bars for the kids.

There is nothing in the T&Cs I could find to say you couldn't do this

    Terms and conditions

Only one kids meal with any one adult hot meal from the teatime menu.
The child must be under 16 years of age and present at the time of purchase.
Only available from 4:00pm to Caf! close, Monday to Friday, meals purchased from the teatime menu.
The free meal must be a kids hero meal from the menu.

Wondered if anyone had tried this?

I had a meal at my local Morrisons a couple of months ago and I would rather eat my own wrist. It was absolutely awful.

The Fish & chips are smashing.
You can combine the 2 offers as indeed I shall be later this week!

We can never finish these huge portions so we take the leftovers home and the chickens get a treat the next morning too!
