I am in the process of applying for the Met Film School in Ealing, London and am really hoping to study there later this year (term starts October '11).

The problem I have been having is funding the course. The course lasts for two years and costs £19,900 a year! :mad: Obviously, I do not have this kind of money. I have been looking around the internet but haven't been able to find any loans that give out this large amount of money and was wondering if anyone could help point me in the right direction, whether it's for help with funding or whether it's just student loans.

While courses at Met are designated, the fee cap from the SLC is just over £3300 (regs haven't been made for 11/12 yet I believe). They'll be no other support, and that would leave you short £16k/year.

Nowhere else would consider loaning you this amount, as you won't have the income to really consider repayments. You would be better off declining the place if you do not have the reserve of funds, and even if you did I would advise against it.
