thought this might be the best place to ask
I am wanting one of those caske stands, you know the ones on a "stick" with a dome on top?
Does anyone know where you can get these- cheap? Id like to get one for my mates Xmas- but alas having no joy in finding them. I saw one in wilkos for a tenner but it was only the stand, no dome.
Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

I would love an old fashioned 2 tier cake stand (or 3 tiers!) and I am keeping a look out at second hand shops unless anyone has seen one somewhere else?? I don't need a dome!
I have seen the one at Lakeland also Lynzpower and ones without stands in Tupperware.0 -
when my fdil was looking for cake stands we found plenty at our car boot sale as good as new or i would think charity shops might have them0

If you turn a smallish bowl upside down and then place a large plate on top it creates an instant cake stand.
not as glam as a proper shop bought one but creates the effect at short notice!weaving through the chaos...0
