Anyone having problems with the system today? I seem to be submitting and it will stick for a while and load a blank page.....was fine all day yesterday but constantly happening today - pretty frustrating when you want to get the hours in!

Yes I was OK this morning but am having problems at the minute. I have logged out for now and may try again later. It has happened before and that time it was fine after and hour or so.

    Hi Everyone

I have just been accepted into the program and am currently waiting for my welcome pack.:j
I'm from the UK and wondered if anyone on here would be able to answer a couple of questions for me.
Firstly - our 11 month contract, does anyone know if this can be renewed after a short break? or once your done that's it?
Secondly - I understand that you cannot work through a subsidiary/umbrella company but has anyone used their own LTD company for tax reasons etc, do Liondbridge allow invoicing from your own company?

I'm hoping this works out well for me as an extra source of income and that I will enjoy the work as it appears more varied than I thought.

    Thanks

    Taz

Welcome Taz! Not sure I can help very much though :o
    1. As far as I am aware you are unable to work from them again after the 11 months. But it would be good if anyone knows different :)
    2. I don't know the answer to this - sorry. I seem to remember that they required a personal bank account but it was quite a while since I started so cannot remember.
    3. I know it doesn't suit everyone but it definitely works for me :). The work is pretty varied once you get going and even though I only generally work a couple of hours a day I very rarely end up doing the same type of task for the whole 2 hours.

Good luck - I hope it works out for you and Congratulations to you and all the others that passed the exam this week

Argh! They obviously found my email as I now have the terms & conditions etc to look at. Can I just ask - once you confirmed you were happy with everything did you get the exam through straight away? The reason I am asking is that we are changing broadband providers next Tuesday so I could be without the internet for a while (hopefully as long as it all goes smoothly it will only be for a few hours but you never know!!)
Thanks - and hope everything is going OK for all of you taking the exam.

Yes, once I accepted the T&Cs I got the exam through the same day, but that could have been because the next exam was due to start the next day - I get the impression lots of us do it at the same time. Hope this helps.

Well still having problems with my timesheet here :(.

Have been having an in depth look at the requirements and how long I spent and cannot find anywhere where 12 hours need to be removed from - have sent them an email asking for a breakdown, but given the lack of response people have been getting, I have a feeling they won't bother.

I still haven't got a response even about re opening my time sheet. :(
Could you pm me an email address if you have any idea?
So fed up with this company.
Re: not knowing how to change your timesheet, i m in the same boat when they eventually reopen it. If they re that bothered, why don't they just pay me for the hours they think i should have worked so i can leave?!

I applied for the assesors job 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything yet - how long does it take before you get the first test through? The application says it is still In Process so I guess I shouldn't give up hope yet!

I am sorry that some of you are still having problems with the timesheet.(understatement I know!)
Has anyone tried using the "escalation email addresses" for finance queries on the Portal to try and get a response? (Go to Payment home from the front screen and then into contact details)
I know you probably have but thought it was worth pointing it out as the portal has changed recently :o
I hope you all get it sorted very soon.

But this isn't a payment issue is it?
It's a time reporting issue, which I would have said is different.
  • I flatly refused to change my timesheet and it's now been approved for the full hours I entered! :T:T

Am hoping that the rest of you have also been approved now. They'll need to get our timesheets out of the way to start on the May ones.

Wish I'd done that :( Took around 3 hours off mine, so will see what happens.
