Matalan Socks - Desparate plee for help! - UPDATED WITH PHOTO!

OK, so here goes!

I made a start on a sock monkey for my boss's daughter before Christmas, and I thought I would be clever and try using the sewing machine for the arms. Wasnt until I had sewn them 3 times, and turned them the right way to notice I had sewn them way to small! I thought I would be able to pick up some more socks in Matalan as they had loads of them before Christmas, but my local store doesnt have them anymore, and they are no longer on their website either! :mad: They are grey with pink toe and heel and leopard print (But the leopard print is like black with pink, orange and yellow).

If anyone is on their travels and sees some, would they possibly pick them up for me? All costs will be covered, and a little something extra for your time!

I can post a pic if needed, but will have to be later as I am at work..

Dont mean to be cheeky but could you not rip the stitching out of the original socks if you cant get some replacement socks or would a co ordinating colour work maybe?

I could, but as I have cut them, they still will be too small!

just asked friend (works in a Matalan stock room) and they said "its old stock,really old stock!"

hi sorry couldnt get on till now i looked in our local store saturday and they didnt have any in, the lady said to me that primark did stock a similar pair, dont know if they do personally as we dont have one on island
