Use the low tech solution - take off both ends and then the middle is easy to compress with your hands

How do you take the ends off a can?
ETA : Ahh, you mean a can as in a tin can, such as what beans are in?
I was thinking of a pop/beer can.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Mine's quite cheap:

If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

I'm after a can crusher myself, so will keep looking to see if anyone has any ideas of who sells them cheap.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
I think yor not ment to crush cans that go into mixed recycling bins, the waste segregation machines are designed to regonised uncrushed cans only.0

Not here
My Local Authority specifically asks that we "wash and crush" so that we get more in the bin and the lorry. Thinking about it, the steel ones are separated by magnet, which recognises steel of any shape :rotfl: :rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll move it to the I Wanna Board to see if there are more suggestions where to get a crusher
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0
